Another milestone has been reached! We are delighted and proud that Jonathan Pirnay successfully defended his doctoral thesis at TUM Campus Straubing, titled “Self-Reflective Deep Learning for Sequential Decision Problems”, achieving the highest grade of summa cum laude.
His work marks a significant advance in neural combinatorial optimisation, presenting new methods that will greatly impact a variety of research projects and applications, ranging from classical combinatorial problems to real-world scenarios in fields such as chemical engineering, chemistry, and biotechnology.
